Chapter 4 :Catcher in the Rye

   In this chapter  Holden and Strabdlater are in the bathroom talking about Ackley as Stradlater is begging to shave for his date. We can see that Holden is very  observative as he sees that in a a way Ackley and Stradlater are both slobs jus one decides to keep it hidden while the other decides to be publicly open with it. Holden then learns that the date Stradlater is taking out is his old friend Jane Gallagher which Holden begins to show that he likes her more that just a friend.  Holden then explains how they use to play checkers that Jane use to keep on her kings in the back row but then begins to worry as he thinks that Stradlater will take advantage of her sexually. Stradlater asks to barrow Holden's jacket and asks his to write a report for him because he says he won't have time when he gets back. As soon as Stradlater leaves Ackley barges back in and sits on his bed talking while piping his pimples once more.
