Chapter 2:Catcher in the Rye

 In this chapter Holden goes to say goodbye to Mr.spencer and we see that he is close to him, not just on a student to teacher base but more as a mentor but Holden never takes anyone's advice. Mr.spencer begins to lecture Holden on all the classes he has failed , how he needs to take his life more serious not just thinking that he can make up for his mistakes in the future because his future is the one that is going to suffer from his mistakes that his is making now. He also makes Holden listen to the terriable essay that he wrote about he Egyptians , not wanting to hear mr.soencers lecture anymore Holden says he has to pack and says his final goodbye to old Mr.spencer.
